What resources are available to help me recruit new employees?


Workforce recruitment resources are available for all new and existing business in Decatur or Morgan County. Some of these resources are based on the number of employees you are recruiting, but many of them are available to you, even if you are only recruiting one employee.

  • Business Services Available through the Career Center
    The Decatur Career Center has many services available to business recruiting new employees. These services include interviewing assistance, available office space, job posting services, available grants for upgrading workers' skills, funding assistance to add new staff, specialized workshops for employers, and access to Department of Labor information on the labor market.

  • Conference Room Available for Interviews
    Morgan County Economic Development Association has a conference room available for industries in need of an off-site location for interviews.   • AIDT Services
    Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) has many services available to new and expanding businesses that need to recruit employees. More detail about these programs can be found on the AIDT section of the Resource Guide.
  • Chamber of Commerce Job Posting Site
    The Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce has a free job positing site available for all Chamber members. You will need your member number to post positions.
